    Mexican Marquetry. Vintage Early 1900’s Mexicana-Jesus Salmon Marquetry “Bull Fighter”. Made from intricate inlay of hundreds of carefully cut pieces of select woods in various natural colors that create the scene.
    Lyrical imagery self framed in mahogany and walnut with inlayed artistic border.
    Measurements include, inlay, border, and beaded wood frame all made in Salmon's shop and are integral to each piece of marquetry. Mexican Marquetry at its finest!
    This "Bullfighter"" scene created by skillfully arranging various kinds of wood to produce the work. No other artist as maintained the sought after marquetry art of Jesus Salmon.
