Alebrijes, which are Mexico's fantastic, imaginative figures are often described as creatures of the dreams and the imagination, They are made of copal wood in Oaxaca, Mexico.  This colorful unicorn is approximately 7 1/4" high, 7 1/2" wide and 7" long.  Oaxaca's wood carvings are collected world-wide and are exhibited in galleries and museums.
