New and handmade in the small colonial town of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, this Mexican folk art sacred heart tin milagro wood cross is one of a kind and a beautiful collector's piece.
Made of hand carved wood, hand painted with a bright purple background, gorgeous pink and orange flowers and white with blue dot outline around the sacred heart.  The sides and back are hand painted a bright purple color with light purple outline.
A 3D, bright silver metallic, sacred heart tin Milagro blesses this cross with hand nailed details (2 1/8"h x 1 5/8"w).  The heart is lightly washed with gold paint.
Milagros, or miracles, are symbols of devotion, offerings to a saint for prayers that need to be answered or carried for protection and good luck.
A hole is carved into the back for wall hanging.
As with all Mexican folk art items, any slight imperfection adds to the beauty of each handmade piece.
