Not to be confused with the 1968 movie tie-in or later reprints, this is the *original* FIRST edition PLANET OF THE APES paperback novel written by Pierre Boulle published *before* the movie of the same name was filmed (or even conceived).  Published by Signet Books, November 1964, this is the complete and unabridged paperback version of hardcover published in 1963.  In EX/EX+ condition - clean inside and out, no cover bends, book is in incredibly good shape esp. given it's young age of 55 years ...  There is one downside, however, there is one inside marking... a small penciled-in price of 75c written lightly on inside page (it probably can be removed but I am selling "as is").
