    A great gift for any cat lover. This little cat is really whimsical and beautiful. It is done on a purple background, and accented with burgundy flowers and yellow and green spots. I just love the faces on these cats, complete with the painted whiskers. And it is great to see the sense of motion in the hips that protrude from the sides - a great extra touch that you do not always see in the more economical pieces! Really cute! And an incredible sense of detail. The artist is Jose Olivera Perez, a cousin of the Master Woodcarver Jacobo Angeles. A true artist in his own right. The tail is removable for safe shipping, and the piece is signed by the artist.
