  • Condition: Handled Pot is pre-owned. Age is unknown. Initials on bottom I believe are RC. This is definately hand made or thrown. You can feel this in the form. Very beautiful. Natural ridge on the inner pot makes it clear that it is handmade. There are no cracks. Two small 1/4 inch imperfections in paint. One on the underside lip of rim (can be seen in second photo) and the other on the mid body of pot (can be seen in first photo). Does not distract from the beauty of the piece, As far as artist that did the stunning artwork I am unsure of. Please be confident in your bidding as all bids are final.

    Beautiful Mexican Tonala Folk Art Handled Pot
    • measures 8.5" tall x 9.5" wide (from handle to handle)
    • top opening measures 5.75"
    • base measures 4.5"
    • hand inscribed with initials "RC" I believe with Mexico and then stamped Mexico as well.
    I am not an expert in the Mexican art pottery but I have to say this is a vintage large beautiful pot.
    Age is unknown. This is definitely hand made or thrown.
    You can feel this in the outer form.
