Mexican Folk Art Sacred Heart Tin Milagro Large Wall Hanging 10.5"H with Crown
From San Miguel de
Allende in
Mexico, this three-dimensional wall hanging is 3 layers of art.  The artist cut each piece of tin by hand, punched the design details, welded it together and his family helped with the hand painting.  Their technique of adding aged and distressed hand painted finishes is unique to traditional Mexican folk art.
Large scalloped
purple heart
with metallic gold border and metallic gold circle punch-outs on the bottom layer.
The next layer is a slightly smaller green and metallic gold distressed heart with scalloped metallic gold border and dot punched along the scallops.
Above the green heart is a green distressed flame and a three-dimensional purple crown adds the crowning touch to the design.
The true beauty is seen in the center, rounded, distressed and crackle paint finished red heart with
black antiqued
edges, white distressing and dot punched surround.
As with all Mexican hand painted and punched tin, any slight
imperfection adds
to the beauty of each handmade Mexican Folk Art piece.
