is a good example of that style
it features an artistically hand crafted oval, bezel set pendant
sterling .925, signed, stamped on reverse side
plus a  golden sepia tone photo of Frida Kahlo, one of the great women artists of Mexico
resin top coating protects the image, which also includes teeny-tiny dried flowers
typical of an art form that is very treasured in Mexico
reverse side of the pendant is smooth & features
a signature plus .925 stamp within a shiny sterling .925 background
there are a few minor imperfections due to hand crafting
if you so desire, although we believe it is a wasted effort, since no one
will see the reverse, you could ask your local jeweler to
buff out the superficial marks
we purchased this pendant and two others we will be listing
shortly from MANO A MANO, a jewelry wholesale firm
that specializes in Mexico vintage items
we sold one recently here on eBay
& we now have three pendants remaining in stock
we wish we had two dozen, but we were very
limited when purchasing as the vendor only had
a few--as she told me, "Pauli, these are treasures, very old
photos that were recycled into new folk art style frames", &
we would have also purchased more stock if it was available
to us"
