    Description

    Up for bid is a vintage Mexican folk art amate bark paper painting. The artist is Bernabe Diaz Ramirez, a Nahua Indian from the state of Guerrero. The Ramirez family has been painting both unique and traditional designs on papel amate for three generations. Bernabe specializes in painting colorful and elaborate birds. The frame measures approximately 21 3/4" x 18". In excellent condition and very well executed. This is #1 of 2. The other painting is the same subject matter with a different perspective. I will be happy to combine shipping.
