FABULOUS  LIZARD WITH PAINTING OF LARGE CAT, SCORPION, INSECT
This great LIZARD is a great carving with wonderful detailed colorful  painting including a large cat on the back, and more creatures on the tail.  This is a wonderful detailed piece.  The body is of many colors ,  decorative  designs and dotwork. This lizard measures approximately 8 1/2" long,  7" wide and 3 " tall   .Alebrijes are Mexico's fantastic, imaginative figures - they are often called "creatures of the dreams and the imagination".  They are hand-carved and hand-painted  of copal wood in Central Mexico where I travel regularly to select affordable high quality and imaginative pieces
