Spectacular cow woodcarving set set by famed woodcarver Gabino Reyes of La Union in Oaxaca State of Mexico. These very collectible Gabino Reyes figure is probably the best cow set I have seen from him. O
btained directly from the artist during a trip to Oaxaca. The piece shows exemplary detail that provides the artist's unparalleled reputation. Of course, the large figure in the set can be displayed in either a grazing position or vertically to show the carving of the Madonna simply by changing how the tail is affixed. The large piece is signed (see photo). This is a real pinnacle piece for the true collector of Mexican folk art.
