These remarkable wood carvings are also known as alebrijes for their similarity with the fantastic paper creatures made in Mexico City. For centuries the inhabitants of the Valley of Oaxaca and the Zapotec civilization carved splendid wooden sculptures that are now in museums or adorning colonial churches.

there are total of 12 pieces - includes 1 table, 4 chairs, 3 Men (one has a guitar attached), 2 swords, 2 bottles-- overall nice.  did notice one of the hands cannot grasp anything.
This is a very cool set.  the table measures 6" x almost 4" x 4" high.  the figurines measure almost 4" total
