    BEAUTIFUL  COYOTE WITH BUTTERFLIES
    Alebrijes are Mexico's fantastic, imaginative figures - they are often called "creatures of the dreams and the imagination".  They are hand-carved and hand-painted  of copal wood in Central Mexico where I travel regularly to select affordable high quality and imaginative pieces. This beautifully decorated coyote is painted with lots of colors, dotwork, flowers and detailed designs including a large butterfly on each side. The coyote stands approximately 5 3/4" tall and 4 3/4 " long with removable tail.  Great gift or for your collection.
