    Description

Arriving at the shop here at Steve's Auto Restorations, was a 1951 Ford Victoria. The car was totally disassembled and everything was started over from scratch. This cars destiny is to be transformed into a road worthy "show car" for an inevitable long distance cruiser, a "show & go" car. It has had a 1955 Ford Crown Victoria roof from a donor car skillfully grafted on to the '51 Vic body. It is currently in the installation process of a 1953 Ford windshield and a 1954 Ford dash. The body is installed onto a brand new Morrison chassis with a crate Ford Boss 302 and a 6 speed Tremec manual transmission. The body and all related sheetmetal have been dipped to remove all paint, primer, fillers and rust. All necessary metal work has been completed before it will be installed on the powder coated custom Morrison chassis. Custom wheels and new tires have been purchased and installed. The interior was designed to be all custom in leather with all of the "creature comforts" of a modern car. The plan was to use all of the 1955 Ford Crown Vic interior trim pieces to style a truly unique interior for a 1951 Ford. At the stage that the car is now in, a lot of "new owner" ideas and tastes can be included into the completion in the final build. No effort or cost was spared up to this point in the concept construction of a truly "one-only" 1951 Victoria. Up to this stage there has been over 0K spent on the project which includes the purchase of 2 cars, the Morrison chassis, a new crate motor and transmission, wheels, tires, hours of sheet metal fabrication, bodywork, and lead work, bumper customization, and design work. All design renderings showing many color scheme options go with the car. Buy it and finish it yourself or with the shop of your choice. If you inquire about us here at Steve's Auto Restorations finishing it, bear in mind that this car is intended to be completed as a judgeable show car and it's completion can be expensive, but buying the project at a very low reserve is a great incentive.
